7 day trip, Crews of 12
Resurrection Bay is the gateway to the Kenai Fjords: a series of long, glaciated indentations that form one of the wildest stretches in the Gulf of Alaska. Wrangle St. Elias, Trail Creek-Lost Creek Loop
7 day trip, Crews of 12
This high-country hike connects Trail and Lost Creeks over an unnamed 6,000 foot pass in the spectacular alpine country of the Mentasta Mountains. The scenic highlights are craggy Noyes Mountain (8,147 feet) on the crest of the range; an ice-cored, rubble covered valley near the pass, and miles of side valleys and ridges on either side of the pass.
